Glasshouse Construction Company is a Southern California Americana duo that combines old time music with modern sensibilities. They've spent the last decade playing together and perfecting their sound.
Jon and Willy first melded their music in the psychedelic rock outfit, Liquid Pimp, but broke off to form their own sound after just a few years. Since then, they've played the LA Theater Festival, recorded a demo EP and released it on Bandcamp, and performed at any number of open mic events. Their current project is “A Cliche Song Rousts Us Not,” and they're excited to get it out to their fans.
Both members of Glasshouse Construction Company have a long musical history full of influences that range between singer-songwriters like Townes van Zandt and traditional Mexican musicians like Jose Alfredo Jimenez, metal heavyweights like Metallica and early pop-rock acts like the Beach Boys.
Glasshouse Construction Company can be found playing gigs and open mics around Southern California. They'd love to get to know you, and for you to get to know their music.
